The Role
Symphony Corporation is seeking a hands-on Senior Azure Cloud Engineer/Architect to own the infrastructure architecture, engineering, automation, and operational support of an AI-powered data and analytics platform.
You will manage Azure environments across Symphony and customer-managed deployments, working closely with software, data, AI, security, and customer infrastructure teams.
Responsibilities
· Design, provision, and operate secure, scalable, highly available Azure infrastructure.
· Own networking, compute, storage, identity, security, containers, monitoring, and cost optimization.
· Develop Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD pipelines, and reusable deployment configurations.
· Deploy and support containerized applications across development, testing, production, and customer environments.
· Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and deployment issues; lead incident resolution and root-cause analysis.
· Partner with customer cloud and security teams to coordinate enterprise deployments.
· Maintain architecture documentation, operational runbooks, and infrastructure standards.
· Independently identify risks, remove technical blockers, and drive initiatives to completion.
Required Qualifications
· 8+ years in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, platform engineering, or related roles.
· 5+ years of hands-on Azure architecture and operations experience.
· Strong knowledge of Azure networking, compute, storage, identity, security, and monitoring.
· Experience with Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, containers, and cloud-native deployment practices.
· Experience supporting enterprise-scale production environments.
· Strong troubleshooting, communication, documentation, and cross-functional leadership skills.
· Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
Preferred Qualifications
· Experience supporting data engineering, analytics, or AI platforms.
· Experience deploying solutions into customer-managed Azure environments.
· Familiarity with healthcare, data privacy, or regulated environments.
· Relevant Microsoft Azure certifications.
· Experience working with distributed teams across the United States and India.
We are looking for a proactive engineer/architect who can quickly understand an existing Azure environment, assume ownership with minimal supervision, and establish reliable, repeatable deployment and operational practices
