Job Title: Associate, IT Project Management Job Code: 38817Job Schedule: 9/80: Employees work 9 out of every 14 days - totaling 80 hours worked - and have every other Friday offJob Location: Melbourne, FLJob Description:As the IT Project Management intern your role is to plan, execute, and finalize projects according to strict deadlines and budgets in a matrix environment. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan. You will also define the project's tasks and oversee quality control throughout the project life cycle.
Essential Functions:- Develop full-scale project plans, timelines and associated communications documents to effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion
- Direct and manage project development from initiating to closing through management of scope, time, cost, quality, resources, communications, risks, changes, and issues
- Develop and deliver status reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations
- Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans
- Initiate and oversee all aspects of vendor management including the development of the Statement of Work and all aspects of communications and delivery
- Help facilitate Portfolio Management process working with management and business to understand project priority, resourcing, and planning
- Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders
- Coach, mentor, motivate and encourage project team members and contractors and influence them to take proactive action and accountability for their assigned work.

Qualifications:- To be eligible, applicants must be pursuing a Bachelors degree in Information Technology or related field or have completed their Bachelor's degree within the last 12 months, regardless of age.
Preferred Additional Skills:- Certifications in Project Management strongly desired (PMP) strongly preferred
- Strong familiarity with project management software, such as Microsoft Project and/or Project Online.
- PM experience in testing processes to include use-case creation and tracking results
- Ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines
