Job Title: Snowflake Developer

Location: Minneapolis, MN

Duration : Long Term

We are seeking a highly skilled Snowflake Developer to design, implement, and optimize our cloud-based data warehouse solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Snowflake, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform), and modern data engineering practices. This role requires both technical leadership and hands-on development to ensure scalable, secure, and high-performance data solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement Snowflake-based data warehouse architectures.
Develop efficient data models to support analytics, BI, and reporting needs.
Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using SQL, Python, and cloud-native tools.
Ensure performance tuning, query optimization, and cost management in Snowflake.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, and data scientists to deliver solutions aligned with business goals.
Establish and enforce data governance, security, and compliance standards.
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to best practices in data engineering.

Qualifications

Bachelor s/Master s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
9 10+ years of experience in data engineering/architecture, with 4 5+ years hands-on Snowflake expertise.
Strong proficiency in SQL and Python.
Experience with AWS (S3, Glue, Lambda), Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
Familiarity with DevOps practices (CI/CD, monitoring, automation).
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills

Experience integrating Snowflake with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
Knowledge of data governance frameworks and compliance (GDPR, CCPA).
Exposure to real-time data streaming technologies (Kafka, Spark).
