About the Job- We are looking for an experienced Snowflake Architect/Data Architect to join one of our enterprise client engagements. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Snowflake, AWS, Azure, SQL, ETL/ELT along with experience working in fast-paced enterprise environments.
Job Description:
- Design and architect scalable, secure, and high-performance data solutions using Snowflake.
- Develop modern cloud data architecture and data platforms supporting analytics, reporting, and AI/ML workloads.
- Define data models, data pipelines, data integration patterns, and data governance standards.
- Design and implement Snowflake data warehouses, data lakes, and lakehouse architectures.
- Work with AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform cloud services and integrate Snowflake with various data sources.
- Develop and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using tools such as Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Informatica, or equivalent.
- Implement Snowflake features including Streams, Tasks, Snowpipe, Dynamic Tables, Time Travel, and Secure Data Sharing.
- Optimize Snowflake performance, compute usage, storage, and overall cost.
- Establish security frameworks including RBAC, data masking, row-level security, encryption, and access controls.
- Collaborate with business, engineering, and analytics teams to translate requirements into technical architecture.
- Provide technical leadership and mentor data engineers and developers.
- Create architecture diagrams, technical documentation, standards, and best practices.
Required Skills:
- 8+ years of experience in Data Engineering / Data Architecture.
- Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake and cloud data architecture.
- Strong SQL and data modeling skills.
- Experience with ETL/ELT, data integration, and data pipelines.
- Experience with Databricks and/or Spark.
- Strong knowledge of AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Experience with data governance, security, performance tuning, and cost optimization.
- Experience designing enterprise-scale data platforms.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
