IT Engineer & Admin Corporate IT - Naperville, Illinois, United States (Onsite) - Full-time, Permanent About the role We're looking for a hands-on IT Engineer & Admin to support and maintain our enterprise cloud, network, and Microsoft 365 environment. You'll handle day-to-day administration, user support, and security operations, and help automate routine IT processes. You'll report to the Corporate IT Manager. Responsibilities - Provide L1/L2 support for users, devices, and applications, resolving tickets within SLA - Administer Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive) - Manage user accounts, groups, and access in Azure AD (Entra ID) - Enroll and manage devices through Intune (MDM/MAM), including compliance policies and BitLocker - Execute employee onboarding/offboarding, access provisioning, and asset handover - Support Azure resources (VMs, storage, networking) and monitor usage and costs - Maintain LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi, firewall rules (Cisco ASA), VPN access, and basic routing - Troubleshoot network and ISP issues and escalate to vendors when needed - Monitor security alerts in Microsoft Sentinel and support incident triage and response - Support ISO 27001 controls, audit evidence collection, and VAPT remediation tasks - Manage Teams policies, backups, and data retention/recovery - Maintain DNS, SSL certificates, and domain renewals (GoDaddy) - Manage GitHub repository access and assist with basic GitHub Actions workflows - Build and maintain automations using Power Automate and Jira forms for access requests and approvals - Maintain IT documentation, asset inventory, and standard operating procedures Requirements - Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field - 2-4 years of experience in IT administration or infrastructure support - Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and Intune - Working knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewalls) - Familiarity with Azure, Windows/Linux servers, and virtualization - Exposure to Microsoft Sentinel, KQL, or SOC operations is a plus - Experience with Jira and Power Automate is a plus - Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills - Must be able to work onsite at the Naperville, IL office Certifications - Preferred: MS-900, MD-102 (Endpoint Administrator), AZ-900 - Nice to have: SC-900, CCNA, ITIL Foundation
