Job title : Lead / Senior Backend Java Developer – Agentic AI

Roles and Responsibilities
· Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality backend applications using Core Java and Spring Boot.
· Build and support scalable REST APIs and microservices.
· Develop secure, reliable, and high-performance production code.
· Design and implement distributed applications using Kafka and AWS services.
· Apply system design principles to build scalable and resilient applications.
· Implement resiliency patterns, including retries, timeouts, circuit breakers, and error handling.
· Analyze application performance, troubleshoot production issues, and improve system stability.
· Use CI/CD, automated testing, and cloud development practices to improve software delivery.
· Leverage enterprise-approved AI-assisted development tools to improve code quality, testing, and productivity.
· Develop applications using AI models such as Claude and GPT, including Agentic AI workflows.
· Conduct code reviews, mentor team members, and contribute to architectural decisions.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and secure technology solutions.
· Identify opportunities to automate recurring issues and improve operational efficiency.
Required Skills
· Strong experience in Core Java, object-oriented programming, concurrency, collections, and JVM fundamentals.
· Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices architecture.
· Experience with Apache Kafka, event-driven architecture, and distributed systems.
· Strong knowledge of AWS services, cloud architecture, deployment, and monitoring.
· Experience with system design, application resiliency, security, and performance optimization.
· Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, continuous integration, continuous delivery, and automated testing.
· Experience with Terraform and monitoring tools such as Grafana and Splunk.
· Understanding of AI models such as Claude and GPT and experience developing AI-powered applications.
· Knowledge of Agentic AI workflows, tool integration, state management, and failure handling.
· Strong debugging, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
· Experience with large-scale enterprise applications.
· Strong understanding of the complete software development lifecycle.
· Experience with Agile methodologies and technical leadership.
· Ability to mentor developers, review code, and contribute to architectural design.
· Experience using AI-assisted engineering tools for code development, testing, refactoring, and troubleshooting.
