Define automation architecture, coding standards, framework guidelines, and best practices.
Lead automation strategy across functional, regression, integration, API, and end-to-end testing.
Develop and maintain automation using Appium, Selenium, Espresso, XCUITest, or similar frameworks.
Build reusable automation components and libraries for mobile applications.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
Implement automated testing across real devices, emulators, simulators, and cloud device platforms.
Collaborate with developers to implement testability and shift-left testing practices.
Define test automation KPIs, reporting, dashboards, and quality metrics.
Troubleshoot automation failures, flaky tests, synchronization issues, and device-specific defects.
Evaluate and recommend mobile automation tools, frameworks, and technologies.
Establish best practices for source control, test data management, environment management, and test execution.
Mentor QA automation engineers and provide technical leadership.
Support performance, security, accessibility, and compatibility testing where required.
8+ years of experience in QA/Test Automation, with strong mobile automation experience.
3+ years of hands-on experience designing mobile automation frameworks.
Strong expertise in Appium for Android and iOS automation.
Experience with Android Espresso and/or iOS XCUITest.
Strong programming skills in Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or Swift.
Experience with Selenium WebDriver and API automation.
Strong understanding of mobile application architecture, Android/iOS platforms, and mobile testing methodologies.
Experience integrating automation frameworks with CI/CD pipelines.
Experience with Git and build tools such as Maven, Gradle, npm, or similar.
Experience with device farms/cloud testing platforms such as BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, AWS Device Farm, or equivalent.
Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum and DevOps practices.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and technical leadership skills.
