Role: Senior CMDB & ServiceNow Integration Engineer

Role Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior CMDB & ServiceNow Integration Engineer with 7+ years of IT experience and strong expertise in ServiceNow CMDB, enterprise integrations, database technologies, ETL platforms, and ServiceNow platform administration. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing, supporting, and optimizing the ServiceNow CMDB, developing integrations, improving data quality, and ensuring reliable CMDB population across enterprise systems.
A strong understanding of the Cicada ETL/Data Integration Platform is mandatory, including its role in populating and maintaining CMDB data and supporting ServiceNow integration workflows. The candidate will work closely with infrastructure, application, and operations teams to ensure accurate Configuration Item (CI) data and seamless integrations.
Required Skills & Experience
Must Have
- 7+ years of overall IT experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development and administration experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow CMDB.
- Experience with ServiceNow ITSM and ITOM.
- Strong experience developing ServiceNow integrations.
- Hands-on experience with:
- REST APIs
- SOAP Web Services
- IntegrationHub
- MID Server
- Strong SQL and relational database experience.
- Experience with CI relationships, Identification & Reconciliation Engine (IRE), Discovery, and Service Mapping.
- Experience troubleshooting CMDB data quality issues.
- Strong JavaScript scripting experience within ServiceNow.
- Experience with Import Sets, Transform Maps, and ETL processes.
Mandatory
- Strong hands-on experience with Cicada ETL/Data Integration Platform.
- Experience configuring and supporting Cicada-based CMDB data ingestion.
- Experience mapping CI data from Cicada into ServiceNow CMDB.
Preferred
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS Discovery/CMDB).
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Knowledge of ITIL and Common Service Data Model (CSDM).
- Experience with enterprise monitoring and inventory tools.
