Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Workday Functional Lead to serve as a functional Subject Matter Expert (SME) across Workday Core HCM, Security, Talent, and Recruiting. The ideal candidate will work directly with business stakeholders, provide functional recommendations, resolve production issues, and coordinate offshore Workday delivery teams.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as the functional SME for Workday Core HCM, Security, Talent, and Recruiting.
Partner with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.
Recommend Workday solutions and functional best practices.
Translate business requirements into effective Workday solutions.
Lead and coordinate offshore Workday teams supporting ongoing operations.
Manage production issues, operational support, and functional enhancements.
Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and offshore delivery teams.
Ensure timely resolution of functional issues and production problems.
Participate in client meetings, workshops, solution reviews, and status discussions.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and Workday optimization.

Required Skills

6+ years of Workday experience.
Strong hands-on experience with Workday Core HCM.
Strong expertise in Workday Security.
Experience with Workday Talent Management and Recruiting.
Strong client-facing consulting experience.
Proven ability to provide functional recommendations as a Workday SME.
Experience coordinating or managing offshore teams.
Strong production support and operational troubleshooting experience.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and proactively with business teams.
