Technical Life Sciences Consultant

Introduction:

This position involves providing technical consultancy services in the Life Sciences sector, with a focus on AI foundations, data modeling, and software development. The role requires engaging with stakeholders to drive client workshops, solution framing, and architecture alignment to meet business requirements.

Responsibilities:

Lead client advisory, opportunity creation, and demand generation
Define and enforce data modeling, metadata, lineage, and quality standards
Architect end-to-end solutions on AWS and Databricks
Review and guide solution designs for scalability, performance, and security
Translate business and analytical requirements into scalable data models
Design scalable data models for analytical and operational workloads
Implement logging, monitoring, observability, and cost optimization frameworks

Requirements:

Required Skills:

10+ years of experience in AI, software development, data engineering, or data architecture
5+ years of Life Sciences consulting experience
Strong experience with Databricks, Python, Spark, SQL, and AWS services
Ability to lead architecture across multi-team delivery models and executive-level meetings

Preferred Skills:

Experience with Artificial Intelligence, Data governance, and Ontologies
Knowledge of MPP architectures, Data Vault 2.0, and cloud-native modeling patterns
Experience in driving enterprise data platform adoption and modern data practices
