Job Title: HR Assistant Specialist with Driving
Location: Norwood, MA 02062
Duration: 6 Months
Pay Rate: $30.60/hr on W2
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday | 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Job Description

We are seeking an HR Assistant Specialist to support Human Resources operations, including recruitment, applicant tracking, workforce planning, reporting, and HR administrative functions. The ideal candidate will work closely with hiring managers and HR teams while providing support for the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and Vendor Management System (VMS). This role requires excellent communication skills, recruiting experience, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Support recruitment activities, including candidate sourcing, resume review, screening, and interview coordination.
Manage job requisitions through the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and Vendor Management System (VMS/IQ Navigator).
Work with hiring managers to gather requisition details and ensure timely hiring processes.
Provide ATS/VMS support, troubleshoot system issues, and assist HR teams and hiring managers with system-related inquiries.
Create, maintain, and distribute reports related to recruitment, workforce planning, and hiring activities.
Coordinate candidate assessments, interviews, and follow-up with hiring managers.
Monitor recruitment progress and maintain accurate hiring records.
Support HR teams with administrative tasks, reporting, and workforce planning initiatives.
Train HR users and hiring managers on ATS/VMS processes and system functionality.
Collaborate with internal HR teams, hiring managers, and external stakeholders to ensure smooth recruitment operations.
Travel to assigned locations using a personal vehicle as needed. Approved business travel expenses will be reimbursed according to company policy.

Required Qualifications

Associate''s or Bachelor''s Degree (preferred) or equivalent experience.
Minimum 2+ years of experience in Human Resources, Recruitment, Talent Acquisition, or a related field.
Experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Vendor Management Systems (VMS) (IQ Navigator experience is a plus).
Knowledge of recruitment processes and employment laws.
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work independently.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and HR reporting tools.
Valid driver''s license and reliable personal vehicle for local travel.

Preferred Skills

Experience supporting workforce planning and HR reporting.
Ability to analyze recruitment data and generate reports.
Experience working with hiring managers in a corporate HR environment.
Strong problem-solving and customer service skills.

Additional Information

Employment Type: Contract (6 Months)
Hours: Approximately 40 hours per week (Overtime may be required)
Travel: Local travel required using a personal vehicle; approved mileage and travel expenses will be reimbursed per company policy.
