Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer for a Hybrid position with a Global Engineering and Construction Firm located in Omaha, NE. This is a 6+ month contract opportunity. This role involves leading a site civil team in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in large industrial site development, utilizing advanced Civil 3D skills for design and stormwater analysis. This position requires being onsite two days per week.
Responsibilities: - Oversee site development, site master planning, and site selection
- Manage underground utility routing and site space planning
- Conduct hydrology analysis for designing storm drain systems
- Analyze and design gravitational wastewater systems
- Perform final grading plans including cut and fill analysis and earthwork balancing
- Provide erosion and sediment control plans and stormwater pollution prevention plans to support permit approval
- Research and adhere to local Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) requirements for design and construction
- Conduct stormwater analysis and modeling in software applications, such as StormCAD and CivilStorm
Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
- 15+ years of relevant experience
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required, or the ability to obtain one within 6 months
- Advanced Civil 3D skills
- Experience with stormwater analysis/modeling using StormCAD and/or CivilStorm
- Ability to lead a site civil team and collaborate with other discipline team members remotely
- Adaptability to work within a fast-paced team environment with multiple deadlines
Desired skills: Pay range: up to $87.00 per hour
