Role Overview:
o Support internal communications for the Owensboro manufacturing site, ensuring clear, timely, and consistent messaging aligned with site and U.S. Operations priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
o Support internal communications strategy and planning for site priorities and employee groups.
o Draft and coordinate employee communications, leadership messages, newsletters, town halls, engagement campaigns, and recognition content.
o Manage message cascades and communication channels including Teams, intranet, newsletters, and frontline channels.
o Support employee events, site visits, leadership visits, workshops, and engagement activities.
o Partner with site leadership, U.S. Operations Communications, S&PD, and cross-functional stakeholders.
o Support employee engagement, culture, recognition, and change communications.
o Maintain communication calendars/trackers and support communication effectiveness follow-up.
o Support quality, health, safety, environmental, and compliance communications.
Required Skills:
o 2–3 years of communications experience, including administrative or employee engagement work.
o Strong written communication, stakeholder management, organization, and attention to detail.
o Experience with employee communications, leadership messaging, newsletters, town halls, or engagement campaigns.
o Strong Microsoft Office skills, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook.
o Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to Have:
o Internal communications experience in manufacturing/operations.
o Experience with events, town halls, recognition programs, or change communications.
o Experience with digital communication channels such as Teams, intranet, newsletters, or digital signage.
o Basic project management and communications calendar experience.
