The Project Manager oversees the full lifecycle of technology and digital product development initiatives from initiation to closure. This role is responsible for driving projects to completion on time, within scope, and on budget. Acting as the central nexus between IT resources, technical analysts, cross-functional business units, and external stakeholders, the Project Manager translates business needs into clear delivery plans, manages risks, tracks financial and effort metrics, and ensures that all deliverables meet high quality and technical standards. Additionally, the role contributes to proposal estimation and continuous process optimization across project teams.

responsibilities:
Project Lifecycle & Schedule Planning: Define project scope, document comprehensive business requirements, map out milestones, and create detailed delivery roadmaps. Establish schedule contingency plans and manage risks across IT and client domains.
Day-to-Day Execution & Delivery Management: Direct daily project workflows, assign tasks/sub-tasks, assemble required assets, and coordinate cross-functional business units and third-party vendors.
Scope & Quality Governance: Review team deliverables against requirements to ensure high-quality standards. Address scope creep, missed deadlines, or requirement changes by adjusting plans with key stakeholders.
Solution Facilitation & IT Architecture Alignment: Facilitate meetings with IT staff and technical analysts to devise application and infrastructure workflows, prototypes, and architecture as client needs evolve.
Financial & Metric Tracking: Track team hours, analyze project profitability, manage expense reports, and report weekly on metrics such as budget burn, percent complete, earned value, slippage, and effort-to-complete.
Proposal & Business Development Support: Collaborate with Business Unit Leaders, Sales/Marketing, and Analysts to provide estimates, technical writing, samples, and cost-reduction strategies for project proposals.
Process Optimization & Performance Management: Maintain and optimize internal production processes, write process documentation, and assist with team performance evaluations and goal assessments.
qualifications:
- Hybrid - 3 days on site (Philadelphia)
- 5-7 years experience in project management/ knowledge of application development, technology design, finance and management required.
- PMP Certification
- Communication Skills
- Proficient with MS Office Applications
