Genesis10 is currently seeking a Senior Technology Project Manager - Remote position with a Financial Services Company located in Woodbury, NY. This is a 6 month contract to hire opportunity.The Senior Technology Project Manager is responsible for leading the successful delivery of large-scale, complex technology initiatives. This role will drive strategic projects across the enterprise, manage cross-functional teams, facilitate Agile delivery practices, and ensure successful execution of business-critical programs. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in project and program management, Agile/Scrum methodologies, Jira, Release Train Engineering (RTE), and stakeholder management at the executive level.
Responsibilities:- Lead multiple complex, high-visibility technology programs and projects from initiation through implementation and stabilization
- Develop and manage integrated project plans, budgets, schedules, dependencies, risks, assumptions, and resource allocations
- Drive delivery of strategic initiatives with significant organizational impact, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements
- Manage competing priorities across multiple business units while maintaining focus on quality, scope, schedule, and budget
- Serve as a Release Train Engineer (RTE) or Agile Program Lead for large-scale Agile initiatives
- Facilitate Program Increment (PI) Planning and execution, dependency management, and continuous improvement activities
- Monitor and report Agile delivery metrics and drive corrective actions where necessary
- Partner with senior business and technology leaders to define program objectives, success criteria, and delivery strategies
- Provide executive-level communications, status reporting, and portfolio updates
- Facilitate decision-making, issue resolution, and risk mitigation across diverse stakeholder groups
- Build strong relationships across business, operations, compliance, risk, infrastructure, development, and vendor organizations
- Establish and maintain project governance frameworks and reporting structures
- Identify, assess, and proactively manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and constraints
- Ensure adherence to enterprise project management standards, SDLC requirements, audit controls, and regulatory obligations
- Support internal and external audits and compliance initiatives as required
- Coordinate technology implementations involving application development, infrastructure, cloud platforms, cybersecurity, data management, and vendor solutions
- Engage cross-functional teams consisting of architects, developers, engineers, quality assurance resources, and third-party vendors
- Drive change management, implementation readiness, and adoption activities
Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Finance or related field
- 15 years of Project and Program Management experience leading large-scale technology initiatives
- 10 years of experience in Financial Services, Banking, Credit Card Services, FinTech, or similar industries
- Demonstrated success delivering complex enterprise technology programs
- Extensive experience with Agile, Scrum, and SAFe methodologies
- Release Train Engineer (RTE) responsibilities
- Jira, Confluence, and Agile reporting tools

Desired skills:- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification
- SAFe Release Train Engineer (RTE), Scrum Master (CSM or PSM), Agile certifications
