Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Java Lead Developer with 12–14+ years of hands-on experience in Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in enterprise application development, REST API design, cloud technologies, and performance optimization, along with proven experience leading development teams, conducting code reviews, and mentoring developers.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design, development, testing, and deployment of enterprise-grade Java applications.
Develop scalable and secure applications using Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and system integrations.
Implement persistence layers using Hibernate, JPA, and relational or NoSQL databases.
Optimize application performance through multithreading, concurrency management, JVM tuning, and debugging.
Design and implement cloud-based solutions using AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform).
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git, Docker, and Kubernetes.
Required Skills
12–14+ years of professional software development experience.
Mandatory: Previous experience working with American Express (Amex).
Strong hands-on expertise in Java, J2EE, and Spring Boot.
Extensive experience with Spring Framework, Hibernate, and JPA.
Strong knowledge of microservices architecture and REST API development.
Experience with multithreading, concurrency, and JVM performance tuning.
Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, including Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
Cloud experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
Hands-on experience with Git, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes.
Strong coding, debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Proven experience leading development teams, conducting code reviews, and mentoring developers.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
