Job Title: Java Backend Lead Location: Phoenix, AZ - Day 1 Onsite, 5 Days WFO
Experience: 11+ Years
We are looking for an experienced
Java Backend Lead to lead backend design and development, provide technical guidance, ensure code quality, and drive successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Lead backend architecture, design, and development.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams.
- Drive code quality, best practices, and engineering standards.
- Make technical decisions and contribute to successful project delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
- Perform code reviews, performance tuning, and technical improvements.
Required Skills- Strong expertise in Core Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and REST APIs.
- Hands-on experience with Vert.x, Reactive Programming, and Distributed Systems.
- Strong knowledge of System Design, OOP, and Design Patterns.
- Experience with Oracle, MySQL, Cassandra, or other NoSQL databases.
- Exposure to Google Cloud Platform, AWS, or Azure and cloud-native development.
- Experience with CI/CD, DevOps, Code Reviews, and Performance Tuning.
- Strong understanding of Agile, TDD/BDD, and SDLC.
- Proven experience leading development teams, mentoring engineers, and driving technical decisions.
Preferred Skills- Experience working in large-scale enterprise environments.
- Knowledge of cloud-native and distributed application development.
Compensation: $120,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
