Role: AWS Cloud Architect

Location: Plano, TX

Job Description:

10+ years of overall experience, including 5+ years of experience with AWS infrastructure setup for applications.
Strong knowledge of cloud-native design patterns and experience defining the right-fit application architecture based on the AWS Well-Architected Framework.
Strong understanding of stateful and stateless application design.
Hands-on experience designing and provisioning AWS cloud infrastructure using Terraform or OpenTofu.
Strong understanding and hands-on experience in infrastructure capacity planning, monitoring, upgrades, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) automation using Terraform/OpenTofu.
Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
Strong understanding of AWS security and the ability to meet application compliance requirements.
Experience working with engineering teams to define infrastructure best practices and processes across the entire infrastructure lifecycle: Plan, Build, Deploy, and Operate.
Experience automating lifecycle activities, including self-service, orchestration, provisioning, and configuration management.
Experience defining technology roadmaps and infrastructure direction.
Ability to learn and use a wide variety of open-source technologies and tools.

Required Certification:

AWS Certified Solutions Architect
