RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Bilingual Cybersecurity Incident Response Analyst in Tempe, AZ Area (Hybrid). The schedule is a 4-day work week; 3 days onsite, 1 day remote. This is a 12-month contract with potential for extension or conversion. Relocation assistance will be considered.
Summary:
A leading global organization is seeking a Bilingual Cybersecurity Incident Response Analyst to join its Cyber Defense team. This role is ideal for professionals who are fluent in both Japanese and English and possess a blend of cybersecurity, incident response, and security operations experience. Candidates with strong Japanese language capabilities and foundational cybersecurity experience are encouraged to apply.
Duties:
* Monitor, investigate, and respond to cybersecurity incidents across enterprise environments
* Analyze security alerts, logs, and forensic artifacts to identify threats and determine appropriate remediation actions
* Conduct incident investigations and support containment, eradication, and recovery efforts
* Correlate data across multiple security platforms to identify patterns, indicators of compromise, and attack paths
* Perform threat analysis, breach indicator assessments, and malicious activity investigations
* Research emerging cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and attack techniques
* Support development and enhancement of security detections, playbooks, automations, and response processes
* Collaborate with internal security, risk, compliance, and audit teams to maintain security standards and documentation
* Prepare reports and provide insights on cybersecurity trends, incidents, and organizational risks
* Assist in maintaining compliance with established security and regulatory frameworks
* Mentor and support junior analysts as needed
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline
* 5+ years of experience in Cybersecurity Operations, Security Operations Center (SOC), Incident Response, Information Security, or a related field
* Experience investigating security events and cybersecurity incidents
* Knowledge of Windows, Linux, macOS, and cloud environments
* Familiarity with security monitoring, log analysis, threat detection, and incident response methodologies
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and investigative skills
* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
* Fluency in both Japanese and English, including professional verbal and written communication
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
