Associate Operations Specialist , you will play a crucial role in supporting the efficient and effective management of energy and environmental programs and projects. You will be responsible for identifying opportunities for process improvements, sharing best practices, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and conducting thorough analyses of program operations.
Key Responsibilities: - Work as part of the energy efficiency team ensuring that the evaluation, implementation, and verification of utility-sponsored energy efficiency projects are successfully executed.
- Develop and share best practices across the team and organization.
- Collaborate with IT, Reporting, Marketing, and Customer Care teams.
- Conduct analyses to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
- Assist with processing incoming project applications.
- Review project application forms and submittals to ensure compliance with program policies and procedures.
- Assign project applications for further processing and review per program policies and procedures.
- Assist with customer and contractor inquiries.
- Coordinate quality control follow-up on project inspections and customer surveys as appropriate.
Basic Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or Associates degree with 2+ years of work experience.
- Strong time management, communication, and organization skills.
- Must be experienced in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), with demonstrated experience in Excel.
- Outstanding analytical, writing, and communication skills.
- Preferred skills:
Preferred skills: - Knowledge of the utility market (specifically energy efficiency, demand response, and distributed energy resource programs and markets).
- Experience with Power BI (or similar data visualization tool).
- Experience with advanced Microsoft data software such as SharePoint Lists and Power Automate.
Skills: - Energy Program Operations: Understanding of utility-sponsored energy efficiency programs and commercial building technologies.
- Process & Compliance Review: Skilled in reviewing project applications and ensuring adherence to program policies and procedures.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Experience working with IT, Reporting, Marketing, and Customer Care teams to support program delivery.
- Analytical Thinking: Ability to identify trends and opportunities for improvement through data analysis.
- Customer & Contractor Support: Capable of handling inquiries and coordinating follow-ups for inspections and surveys.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite; familiarity with Power BI, SharePoint Lists, and Power Automate.

Compensation: Although the posted range below is broader, this position is anticipated to offer a base salary in the $70,000-$75,000 range. The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:
$61,232.00 - $104,094.00
