Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Dayforce Payroll Processor to support payroll operations during mergers, acquisitions, and organizational transitions.
The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience processing payroll using Dayforce Payroll and should have experience supporting payroll during M&A, acquisitions, entity consolidation, payroll transitions, or system integrations.
This is a fast-paced contract opportunity requiring strong attention to detail, adaptability, and the ability to manage changing priorities while maintaining payroll accuracy and compliance.
Mandatory Qualifications
Hands-on Dayforce Payroll experience is mandatory.
Proven experience processing payroll directly within Dayforce/Ceridian Dayforce.
Experience with payroll processing, reconciliation, auditing, and resolving payroll discrepancies.
Direct experience supporting payroll during mergers, acquisitions, or organizational restructuring.
Experience working with changing payroll processes, entities, systems, or pay groups.
Strong understanding of payroll controls, accuracy, compliance, and deadlines.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.
Key Responsibilities
Process payroll accurately and on schedule using Dayforce Payroll.
Support payroll activities associated with mergers and acquisitions.
Assist with payroll transitions involving acquired or consolidated entities.
Support entity consolidation, payroll integration, and system/process changes as required.
Review and reconcile payroll results and investigate discrepancies.
Identify and resolve payroll issues resulting from entity, employee, or system changes.
Perform payroll audits and validation activities to ensure accuracy.
Collaborate with payroll, HR, HRIS, finance, and other internal teams.
Adapt quickly to changing priorities, processes, and business requirements.
Maintain payroll accuracy, compliance, and confidentiality throughout the transition process.
Document and communicate payroll issues, resolutions, and process changes.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting multi-entity or multi-company payroll.
Experience with dual or parallel payroll processing during transitions.
Experience with payroll migration, conversion, implementation, or system integration.
Experience with payroll reconciliation and validation during acquisitions.
Previous experience supporting Dayforce Payroll in an M&A environment.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a hands-on Dayforce Payroll professional, rather than someone whose experience is limited to Dayforce HR, Workforce Management, or general HRIS functions.
Candidates should be comfortable working directly in payroll operations and supporting complex payroll changes associated with M&A and organizational transitions.
