We are seeking an IT Security Governance Analyst to support and elevate our enterprise cybersecurity, risk management, and compliance programs.

Position Details

Location: Richmond, VA (Candidates must reside in Virginia or within a reasonable commuting distance)
Work Arrangement: Remote (with occasional on-site attendance for meetings as needed)
Interview Process: In-Person Only

Key Responsibilities

Risk & Compliance Management: Conduct security risk assessments, Business Impact Analyses (BIA), control assessments, and maintain risk registers in GRC tools.
Framework Implementation: Apply standards such as NIST SP 800-series, CIS Controls, CJIS, VCIN, HIPAA, and PCI.
Third-Party Risk Management: Review vendor SOC reports, security questionnaires, MOUs, and contracts.
Audit & Governance: Manage audit activities, develop security policies, and evaluate security/privacy for emerging tech & AI initiatives.

Key Skills & Qualifications

< data-path-to-node="12">Required Skills:

Cybersecurity / GRC Experience: 5+ years in IT security governance or risk management.
Frameworks & Audits: 4+ years using NIST SP 800-series frameworks and 3+ years conducting security control assessments / supporting IT audits.
Risk Documentation: 3+ years managing risk registers, remediation tracking, security documentation, and executive summaries.

Tools: 3+ years with Archer GRC.
State Standards: Experience with VITA SEC530 requirements.
Certifications: CRISC, CISA, CGRC, CISSP, or CISM.
