Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Information Security Manager 3 / Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC) Risk Register Analyst to support risk management, governance, and compliance initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in risk register design, risk scoring and prioritization, governance processes, stakeholder engagement, documentation, and knowledge transfer.
The candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining risk management processes, facilitating governance workflows, analyzing and prioritizing organizational risks, and working closely with business and technical stakeholders to ensure effective risk identification, assessment, mitigation, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, maintain, and enhance enterprise risk registers and associated risk management frameworks.
Establish and maintain risk scoring, assessment, and prioritization models based on organizational risk criteria.
Identify, analyze, document, and monitor information security, technology, operational, and compliance risks.
Develop and manage governance processes, procedures, workflows, and controls.
Facilitate risk assessment activities with business, IT, security, and compliance stakeholders.
Track risk mitigation activities, remediation plans, owners, due dates, and risk acceptance decisions.
Prepare risk reports, dashboards, summaries, and management-level presentations.
Support governance committees and leadership with risk insights, trends, and recommendations.
Collaborate with stakeholders to improve risk awareness, governance practices, and enablement.
Ensure risk documentation is accurate, consistent, current, and aligned with organizational requirements.
Develop and maintain policies, procedures, standards, guidelines, and process documentation.
Conduct stakeholder enablement sessions and provide guidance on risk management processes and workflows.
Perform gap analysis and identify opportunities to strengthen GRC and risk management practices.
Support audits, assessments, compliance reviews, and regulatory requirements as needed.
Maintain effective communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders across the organization.
Create and maintain knowledge-transfer materials, process guides, training documentation, and standard operating procedures.
Provide recommendations to improve risk management maturity, governance effectiveness, and operational processes.
Required Skills
8+ years of experience in Information Security, Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC), Risk Management, or a related field.
8+ years of experience with Risk Register Design and Frameworks.
8+ years of experience with Risk Scoring and Prioritization Models.
8+ years of experience with Governance Processes and Workflows.
8+ years of experience with Stakeholder Management and Enablement.
Strong understanding of information security and technology risk management principles.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and risk assessment skills.
Excellent documentation, communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
Demonstrated ability to perform knowledge transfer and develop clear process documentation.
Ability to work effectively with senior leadership, business teams, IT teams, security teams, and other stakeholders.
Strong understanding of risk mitigation, remediation tracking, risk acceptance, and escalation processes.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliverables in a remote working environment.
Willingness and ability to travel as required.
Education
Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Business, Risk Management, or a related field is preferred.
