Summary

We are seeking an experienced Java Backend Engineer with strong hands-on Apache Spark experience to develop scalable backend applications and data-processing solutions.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, Apache Spark, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD.

Required Skills

7+ years of Java/J2EE development experience
Strong hands-on experience with Java
Strong experience with Spring Boot
Hands-on Apache Spark experience is mandatory
Experience with Spark Streaming and/or Spark SQL
Strong experience developing Microservices
Strong REST API development experience
Experience with AWS – EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.
Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes
Experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or other SQL/NoSQL databases
Experience with Git, GitLab/GitHub, Jenkins, and CI/CD
Experience with Apache Kafka is a plus
Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and performance optimization skills
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

Responsibilities

Build and optimize Apache Spark-based data-processing applications
Develop and integrate RESTful APIs
