Title: Jr. Java Developer/Software Engineer
Location: Across USA (Onsite/Hybrid/Remote)
Job Type: Fulltime
Job Summary
We are looking for Junior Java Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in Java, a passion for learning, and the ability to work collaboratively on building, maintaining, and improving software applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain Java-based applications according to project requirements.
- Collaborate with senior developers to design and implement new features.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
- Assist in the development of technical documentation and user guides.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of Java
- Familiarity with SQL and relational databases
- Basic knowledge of Spring / Spring Boot and Microservices is a plus
- Familiarity with Java frameworks and libraries such as Spring, Hibernate, etc.
- Knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
- Understanding of relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and SQL.
- Basic knowledge of version control systems (Git, SVN).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good problem-solving and communication skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience with RESTful APIs and web services.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development processes.
- Familiarity with build tools (Maven, Gradle) and CI/CD
- Basic understanding of front-end frameworks (Angular, React) is a plus.
- Certification in Java programming or related technologies is a plus.
