Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer with 8+ years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable enterprise applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, SQL, and cloud technologies, along with a solid understanding of software development best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable Java-based enterprise applications.
- Develop robust and high-performance RESTful APIs and microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
- Participate in architecture and technical design discussions.
- Build and integrate applications with internal and external systems.
- Develop efficient database queries, stored procedures, and data-access layers.
- Troubleshoot production issues and perform root-cause analysis.
- Write clean, maintainable, reusable, and well-tested code.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding and security standards.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Architects, QA Engineers, DevOps teams, and other stakeholders.
- Implement automated unit and integration testing.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute throughout the SDLC.
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to the development team.
Required Skills
- 8+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong programming experience in Java 8/11/17+.
- Strong hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Framework.
- Extensive experience developing Microservices architecture.
- Strong knowledge of RESTful Web Services and API development.
- Experience with SQL and relational databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server.
- Experience with JPA/Hibernate.
- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming, Design Patterns, and SOLID principles.
- Experience with Git and source-control management.
- Experience with build tools such as Maven or Gradle.
- Strong knowledge of JUnit, Mockito, and automated testing.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with Kafka or other messaging platforms.
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
- Experience with Redis or other caching technologies.
- Exposure to NoSQL databases such as MongoDB.
- Knowledge of application security and secure coding practices.
- Experience with performance tuning and application monitoring.
