Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Microsoft Fabric Developer to lead the design, development, and optimization of enterprise data pipelines, lakehouse solutions, and analytics models.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop pipelines using Fabric Data Factory and Dataflows Gen2.
Build Spark notebooks using PySpark and Spark SQL.
Implement Lakehouse, Warehouse, OneLake, Delta Lake, and medallion architecture.
Optimize Power BI semantic models using DAX and Direct Lake.
Lead migrations from SSIS, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, and SQL Server.
Implement CI/CD using Git, Azure DevOps, or GitHub.
Manage data security and governance using Microsoft Purview, RBAC, RLS, and sensitivity labels.
Optimize Fabric capacity, pipeline performance, and Spark jobs.
Mentor engineers and collaborate with business and IT stakeholders.
Required Skills & Qualifications
10+ years of data engineering experience with hands-on Microsoft Fabric production delivery.
Strong expertise in Lakehouse, Warehouse, OneLake, Data Factory, and Spark notebooks.
Expert-level SQL/T-SQL, Python, PySpark, and Spark SQL.
Strong Delta Lake, dimensional modeling, and medallion architecture experience.
Power BI, DAX, semantic models, Direct Lake, Import, and DirectQuery.
Experience with incremental loads, CDC, and data-quality frameworks.
Strong Git, CI/CD, and deployment pipeline experience.
Technical leadership, mentoring, and stakeholder-management skills.
