Summary

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Oracle APEX Developer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade web applications using Oracle Application Express (APEX). The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Oracle Database, PL/SQL, SQL, and REST integrations while collaborating with business stakeholders to deliver scalable and secure solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain applications using Oracle APEX.
Develop complex SQL queries, PL/SQL procedures, packages, functions, and triggers.
Build interactive reports, dashboards, forms, interactive grids, charts, and faceted search pages.
Develop RESTful API integrations using Oracle REST Data Services (ORDS).
Customize UI using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and Dynamic Actions.
Optimize database performance through SQL tuning and query optimization.
Implement authentication, authorization, and application security best practices.
Integrate Oracle APEX applications with Oracle Cloud, Fusion Applications, or third-party systems.
Participate in requirement gathering, technical design, code reviews, testing, and production deployments.
Provide production support, troubleshooting, bug fixes, and performance enhancements.
Create technical documentation and support UAT activities.

Required Skills

5+ years of Oracle Application Express (APEX) development experience.
Strong Oracle SQL and PL/SQL programming skills.
Experience with Oracle Database 12c/19c/21c.
Hands-on experience with ORDS and REST APIs.
Strong knowledge of Interactive Reports, Interactive Grids, Forms, Charts, and Dashboards.
Experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
Knowledge of Oracle security, authentication, authorization, and session management.
Experience with Git or other version control systems.
Understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

Preferred Skills

Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud or Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS).
Knowledge of Oracle BI Publisher.
Experience with OAuth2, SSO, and Identity Management.
Familiarity with Redwood UI and responsive application development.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Oracle APEX Certification is preferred.
