Role Title: Oracle FSDF / DFCS Technical Consultant
Duration: 6 months+ extensions or potential to convert
Preferred Location: Remote, with occasional travel to NY (approximately quarterly)
Role Description:
· We are seeking a hands-on Oracle FSDF / DFCS Technical Data Analyst to support a large-scale financial data modernization initiative.
· This individual will be responsible for building, configuring, and enhancing data structures within Oracle Financial Services Data Foundation (FSDF) and Oracle Data Foundation Cloud Service (DFCS).
· The primary focus will be on developing new SQL tables, rebuilding existing data pipelines, and supporting the migration from legacy data architecture to the future-state Oracle FSDF framework.
· This is a highly technical, hands-on role not a traditional Product Owner or requirements-focused Business Analyst position.
· Candidates with strong Oracle FSDF experience will be considered even without direct DFCS experience
· Perform hands-on configuration and technical development within Oracle FSDF and/or DFCS.
· Design, build, and modify SQL tables and data structures to support financial data processing.
· Support the rebuilding of legacy data pipelines into the future-state FSDF architecture.
· Analyze existing data flows, identify required changes, and implement new data structures.
· Develop and maintain complex SQL queries for data transformation, integration, and validation.
· Troubleshoot data issues and support ongoing platform enhancements.
· Collaborate with business, data, and technology teams to understand requirements and deliver technical solutions.
· Participate in knowledge transfer sessions with Oracle and internal stakeholders.
Requirements:
· Strong hands-on experience with Oracle FSDF and/or DFCS.
· Advanced SQL skills, including creating tables, developing queries, and working with complex data structures.
· Experience with data engineering, data analysis, or technical configuration within enterprise data platforms.
· Ability to independently build and modify data structures rather than simply document requirements.
· Experience working with data pipelines, data integration, and legacy system modernization.
· Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to collaborate with business and technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
· Direct Oracle DFCS configuration and development experience.
· Experience with Oracle Financial Services applications.
· Financial services or banking industry experience.
· Experience migrating legacy data structures to modernized data platforms.
· Background in data engineering, technical data analysis, or application development.
