Role Overview
We are looking for a Techno-Functional QA Automation Engineer to drive functional and UI automation testing while working closely with business stakeholders. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Playwright or Selenium with Java/Python, along with hands-on experience in SQL and API testing. The resource will independently manage QA delivery, automation initiatives, and reporting within an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive functional, manual, and UI automation testing.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using Playwright or Selenium.
- Perform end-to-end testing across UI, Services, APIs, and Databases.
- Execute functional, regression, API, and database testing.
- Collaborate with business teams to understand requirements and define acceptance criteria.
- Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies and independently manage QA delivery and stakeholder reporting.
Required Skills
- Strong experience in Manual & Automation Testing.
- Hands-on expertise in Playwright or Selenium with Java or Python.
- Experience with Postman or JMeter for API testing.
- Strong SQL skills with Snowflake, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and Oracle.
- Experience testing multi-tier applications (UI Services APIs Database).
- Strong functional and regression testing skills.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, ownership, and time management.
- Good knowledge of the Financial Services / Wealth Management domain.
