We are a growing engineering-focused company looking for a hands-on Senior QA Automation Engineer to help expand and improve our automated testing capabilities across our software platform.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building systems, improving processes, and working in a collaborative startup-style environment where they can make a direct impact. The ideal candidate is comfortable wearing multiple hats, contributing to automation infrastructure, troubleshooting issues, and working closely with developers to improve product quality and release confidence.

This is a highly hands-on role with significant ownership and growth opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and improve automated test coverage for web applications and APIs
  • Design and execute automated regression, smoke, integration, and functional tests
  • Help improve and expand the company s QA automation infrastructure and processes
  • Collaborate closely with software developers to identify, reproduce, and resolve defects
  • Participate in release validation and quality verification activities
  • As needed, influence and Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
  • Analyze test results, troubleshoot failures, and assist with root cause analysis
  • Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and testing documentation
  • Perform manual validation and exploratory testing when needed
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of software quality practices across the engineering team

Required Technical Skills

Automation & Testing

  • 3-5 years experience with modern automation tools such as Playwright or Selenium
  • Experience with API testing using Postman or similar tools
  • Experience developing and maintaining automated test scripts
  • Understanding of regression, integration, and functional testing practices
  • Capacity and aptitude to Integrate AI productivity tooling

Programming / Scripting

Experience with one or more of the following:

  • JavaScript / TypeScript
  • Python
  • C#

CI/CD & Development Tools

  • Git and version control workflows
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps
  • Basic understanding of automated testing within deployment pipelines

Additional Technical Skills

  • SQL and relational databases
  • Log analysis and debugging/troubleshooting skills
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development environments

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience testing enterprise or industrial software products
  • Experience working in startup or smaller engineering team environments
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS
  • Experience improving automation frameworks and testing processes
  • Comfortable working independently and adapting to changing priorities
  • Experience using AI-assisted development or testing tools is a plus
