Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Analyst / Business Analyst with strong expertise in Revenue Cycle Management (RCM), Workforce Management (WFM), and SQL to support the design, development, and implementation of workforce analytics, productivity reporting, and inventory management solutions. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, operations teams, data engineers, and reporting teams to transform complex business requirements into scalable analytical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with RCM operations, WFM, and business stakeholders to gather and document requirements.
- Analyze RCM operational processes, inventory workflows, productivity metrics, and workforce planning needs.
- Develop SQL queries to extract, validate, analyze, and reconcile data from multiple source systems.
- Define business rules, KPIs, productivity metrics, inventory measures, and operational reporting requirements.
- Perform data validation, reconciliation, root cause analysis, and data quality assessments.
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Support development of workforce planning, capacity forecasting, inventory management, and productivity reporting solutions.
- Partner with Data Engineering teams to design data models, mappings, and transformation logic.
- Conduct UAT testing and support production implementation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, Business Analytics, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management (RCM).
- Strong understanding of:
- Claims lifecycle
- Billing and Accounts Receivable
- Denials Management
- Payment Posting
- Inventory Management
- Productivity Reporting
- Workforce Planning concepts
- SQL expertise including:
- Complex joins
- CTEs
- Window functions
- Stored procedures
- Query optimization
- Data validation and reconciliation
- Experience working with large healthcare datasets.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience creating business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Databricks, Azure Data Platform, or Data Lake environments.
- Experience with Power BI or Tableau.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Knowledge of workforce management concepts including:
