Summary

We are seeking an experienced RH OpenShift Virtualization (CNV) Sr. Consultant to join our team in a follow-the-sun support model. In this role, you will be responsible for administering, deploying, and maintaining OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) on bare-metal on-premise data centers, with a primary focus on migrating virtual machine workloads from VMware vSphere or Red Hat Virtualization (RHV) to OpenShift Virtualization.

Key Responsibilities:

Administration & Operation - Administering, deploying, and maintaining OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) on bare-metal on-premise data centers.
Migration Strategy - Assisting with the migration of VM workloads from VMware vSphere or Red Hat Virtualization (RHV) to OpenShift Virtualization using tools like the Migration Toolkit for Virtualization (MTV).
Automation - Using Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform and/or Python to automate the migration of virtual machines and related infrastructure at scale.
Mentorship & Enablement - Acting as a subject matter expert (SME), mentoring customer teams on best practices for Day-2 operations.
Troubleshooting - Resolving complex issues related to networking, storage, and application integration
