The SQL Server Engineer / SQL Server SME is responsible for designing, developing, optimizing, and supporting enterprise SQL Server environments both on-premises and in Microsoft Azure. The role serves as the subject matter expert (SME) for database architecture, performance tuning, ETL solutions, reporting services, and cloud migration initiatives.

Primary Responsibilities

SQL Development

Develop and optimize: Stored Procedures, Functions, Views, Triggers, T-SQL Queries
Analyze execution plans and improve query performance.
Troubleshoot blocking, deadlocks, and long-running queries.
Design efficient indexing strategies.
Implement database performance tuning.
SSIS Development
