Job Title: Saviyant IAM Engineer
Duration: 6 months+ Contract
Location: Remote
Position Overview:
We are seeking a hands-on Identity and Access Management (IAM) Engineer with strong Saviynt experience to support the development, configuration, integration, and ongoing enhancement of a customer IAM environment. The ideal candidate will have practical experience with Saviynt Enterprise Identity Cloud (EIC) and be comfortable performing hands-on configuration and low-code development, onboarding applications, troubleshooting integrations, and working through an existing IAM backlog. This is primarily an engineering and development role rather than an architecture role.
Responsibilities:
• Perform hands-on Saviynt configuration and low-code development to implement IAM capabilities and business requirements.
• Develop, configure, and maintain IAM integrations for business-to-business (B2B), business-to-consumer (B2C), and business-to-employee (B2E) applications and users.
• Onboard new applications into the Saviynt IAM platform, including complex application integrations.
• Develop and maintain workflows, access policies, roles, business rules, provisioning processes, and other Saviynt configurations.
• Work through the IAM backlog by implementing new features, enhancements, and remediation items.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex IAM integration, configuration, provisioning, and access-related issues.
• Develop and implement enhancements that meet evolving business and security requirements.
• Support identity lifecycle management, access requests, provisioning and deprovisioning, access governance, and related IAM processes.
• Integrate Saviynt with enterprise platforms, including Microsoft Entra ID, formerly Azure Active Directory, and other Microsoft services.
• Support IAM use cases involving Privileged Identity Management (PIM), Privileged Access Management (PAM), and elevated access for Microsoft 365 services and applications.
• Write code or scripts as needed to support integrations, automation, testing, troubleshooting, and system enhancements.
• Perform testing, debugging, and validation of IAM solutions before implementation.
• Collaborate with users, application owners, operations teams, security teams, and other stakeholders to troubleshoot issues and refine requirements.
• Evaluate existing solutions and recommend improvements to IAM functionality, processes, integrations, and user experience.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including integration documentation, operating procedures, configuration guidance, design documentation, and operational materials.
• Assist with knowledge transfer and provide guidance to less-experienced IAM developers, analysts, and operations personnel.
• Estimate high-level effort for business requirements and provide solution options and recommendations.
• Participate in project and task management, status reporting, and other activities as required.
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications
• Hands-on experience with Saviynt Enterprise Identity Cloud (EIC).
• Demonstrated experience performing Saviynt configuration and low-code development.
• Experience onboarding applications and developing IAM integrations.
• Strong understanding of IAM concepts, including identity lifecycle management, provisioning and deprovisioning, access requests, roles, access policies, and governance.
• Experience troubleshooting IAM integrations and resolving complex technical issues.
• Ability to independently work through a backlog of IAM enhancements, features, and technical issues.
• Experience testing and debugging IAM solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work directly with technical teams, application owners, business stakeholders, and operations teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience integrating Saviynt with Microsoft Entra ID or Azure Active Directory.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 identity and access management.
• Understanding of Privileged Identity Management (PIM) or Privileged Access Management (PAM).
• Experience supporting access to Microsoft 365 services such as SharePoint and Microsoft Purview.
• Experience with application programming interface (API)-based integrations and web services.
• Scripting or programming experience used to support IAM integrations and automation.
• Experience working in enterprise-scale IAM environments.
• Experience with additional IAM platforms such as SailPoint, Okta, CyberArk, or similar technologies.
• Experience providing technical guidance or mentoring to junior IAM resources.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on Saviynt engineer who can work directly in the platform and deliver results. The individual should be comfortable translating requirements into Saviynt configurations or low-code solutions, troubleshooting issues, onboarding applications, and independently advancing backlog items and enhancements. This position does not require an enterprise IAM architect; the primary need is an engineer or developer who can contribute immediately within the Saviynt environment.
