Senior IAM Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior IAM Engineer in Golden, CO.

Summary:
We are seeking an experienced IAM Engineer to design, implement, and support enterprise identity and access management solutions. This individual will focus on SSO/MFA integrations, identity lifecycle management, access governance, automation, and ensuring secure, reliable access across enterprise systems and applications.

Key Responsibilities:
* Design, configure, and maintain identity and access management platforms, authentication services, and directory integrations
* Implement and support Single Sign-On (SSO) and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) integrations using Okta and other IAM technologies
* Develop and maintain automated workflows for identity provisioning, deprovisioning, and access management
* Troubleshoot authentication, access, and integration issues while improving system reliability, security, and user experience
* Support application onboarding and integrate enterprise applications with IAM platforms
* Maintain technical documentation and collaborate with IT teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to support IAM initiatives
* Apply security best practices, access governance principles, and least-privilege standards across identity solutions

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
* 5+ years of experience in IT, cybersecurity, systems administration, or identity and access management
* 4+ years of hands-on experience with IAM platforms, SSO/MFA implementations, directory integrations, and application onboarding
* Experience with IAM technologies such as Okta, SailPoint, Ping Identity, Active Directory, and LDAP
* Working knowledge of authentication and authorization protocols, including SAML, OAuth, and OpenID Connect
* Experience with scripting, APIs, automation, and identity lifecycle management
* Understanding of access governance, least-privilege principles, and information security best practices
* Strong troubleshooting, analytical, documentation, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:
* Relevant certifications, such as IAM-focused certifications, CISSP, or CISM
* Hands-on Okta administration, configuration, and application integration experience
* Experience implementing, upgrading, or modernizing IAM platforms and automating identity workflows
* Visa sponsorship is not available for this position

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
