Scrum Project Coordinator

Hiring an Agile Project Coordinator for a retail industry client. 

This is a straight contract, 100% remote in the US

Looking for someone that has prior experience in Agile settings & has used Jira, Confluence for similar Agile software. 

Agile Project Coordinator
Industry: Furniture Retailer 
Location: 100% remote in USA only, EST core hours
Contract Duration: 9 months+ (chance of extensions, potentially could roll to perm but not a guarantee)
Pay: $35-45/hr W2 DOE 

Reason for Opening:
New role to bring structure and visibility to a multi-workstream commerce modernization program (Point-of-Sale (POS) + customer care is moving to Shopify).

Clear path to grow into Scrum Master as the program scales.

Large cross-functional program across product, engineering, QA, and delivery; must stay aligned with a dedicated system integration partner running two-week sprints.

Requirements:

• Project coordinator/project management experience for technology-focused projects in an Agile setting 
• Experience acting as a liaison between different company departments
• Experience using Jira, Confluence (or similar Agile tools)
• Experience using Microsoft Project, Smartsheet or similar
• Comfortable with creating simple spreadsheets in Microsoft Excel

Nice-to-Have:
Experience either running/assisting with agile sprint sessions or has their Certified Scrum Master certification

Typical Day:

• Own and maintain the RAID log (risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies) and keep it current and actionable.
• Track and manage cross-team dependencies; flag blockers early and drive them to resolution.
• Drive action tracking, status reporting, and follow-up
• Support change-request and budget tracking.
• Administer Jira boards and Confluence: backlog hygiene
