Summary

Role: Scrum Master

Location: Columbus,OH

Duration: 12+ Months

Job Responsibility:

Act as an enabler for the effective functioning of a software development team using Agile Methodology. Is also a custodian for the Agile process and ensures all scrum processes are used as intended. Protects the team, removes barriers to successful implementation, and keeps them focused on the task at hand. Helps the Product Owner maximize productivity. Maintain the backlog and release plans, publish reports to ensure the product owner is updated about the teams progress.

Key Responsibilities : Strong communication skills is a must State form requirements are not always straight forward and a scrum master should be comfortable identifying lack of requirements and work closely with product owners to ensure stories have all the necessary information the development team requires Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency Cognizant of approaching deadlines and
Technical Experience : Strong agile / SAFe background TCA runs in an agile release train where agile practices and metrics are looked upon closely The scrum master should ensure teams are following good agile practices Good working knowledge of JIRA All work is driven through JIRA, and the ability to create queries in JIRA and managing releases in JIRA is very important
