Experience: 10 + years overall, with strong hands-on Azure networking experience
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Azure Networking Consultant to provide short-term technical expertise and guidance within a client environment.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience designing, troubleshooting, and supporting Microsoft Azure networking environments, with the ability to quickly understand an existing client architecture, identify networking issues or risks, and provide practical recommendations.
Key Responsibilities
Review and understand the client's existing Azure networking architecture and environment.
Provide expert guidance on Azure network design, connectivity, security, and troubleshooting.
Analyze Virtual Networks (VNets), subnets, routing, and network security configurations.
Review and troubleshoot Network Security Groups (NSGs), Azure Firewall, Route Tables/UDRs, and private connectivity.
Provide guidance on VPN Gateway, ExpressRoute, VNet peering, and hybrid Azure/on-premises connectivity.
Review Private Endpoints, Private DNS, Azure Load Balancer, Application Gateway, and related Azure networking components as applicable.
Troubleshoot connectivity and communication issues between Azure resources and client/on-premises environments.
Work directly with the client's technical team and explain findings and recommendations clearly.
Provide best-practice recommendations for improving the client's Azure network architecture, security, reliability, and performance.
Document key findings, recommendations, and potential remediation steps.
