Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Cloud AWS Engineer who will be responsible for supporting and managing AWS cloud infrastructure, with a focus on AWS operations, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation, security, and cloud best practices. The role will develop and implement IaC using Terraform and scripting, support AWS application development tools and environments, and provide documentation and recommendations for cloud configurations and best practices. Collaboration within an Agile team and participation in an on-call rotation are required.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and support AWS cloud infrastructure and enterprise environments.
- Develop and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC), scripting, and automation.
- Support AWS application development tools and cloud environment configurations.
- Develop procedures and documentation for AWS best practices and operational processes.
- Support security requirements across various AWS environment scenarios.
- Monitor and troubleshoot AWS environments and infrastructure.
- Collaborate with team members through Agile ceremonies and practices.
- Participate in an on-call rotation.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced experience with AWS operations and cloud infrastructure.
- Hands-on experience with AWS application development and Infrastructure as Code, including Terraform, Go, Python, and GitLab/CI/CD.
- Experience with AWS scripting, automation, and monitoring.
- Strong technical background in Linux environments and AWS Lambda/serverless technologies.
- Understanding of networking concepts
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience developing and documenting AWS cloud best practices and operational procedures.
- Experience supporting enterprise-scale AWS environments.
- Experience with cloud security and secure infrastructure configurations.
- Experience working in an Agile environment.
