Senior Data Engineer- Snowflake+ DBT-
Experience Range: 4 to 6 years of experience, including substantial hands-on expertise in Snowflake engineering and data platform development

Key Responsibilities:
1. Design and implement scalable Snowflake data warehouse solutions to meet complex analytics and reporting objectives, ensuring high availability and performance
2. Develop, optimize, and maintain ETL pipelines using SQL, Python, and DataStream, achieving efficient data ingestion and transformation with measurable throughput targets
3. Configure and manage Snowflake features such as Time Travel, Fail Safe, Snowpipe, and SnowSQL to ensure robust data management, recovery, and automation
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data requirements and deliver reliable, high-performance data solutions aligned with business goals
5. Develop and maintain stored procedures using PLSQL and T-SQL to automate business logic and streamline data processing workflows
6. Monitor data platform performance, proactively troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements to optimize query efficiency and resource utilization
7. Enforce data integrity, security, and compliance standards across all Snowflake environments and data pipelines
8. Document technical designs, data flows, and operational procedures to support ongoing maintenance and facilitate knowledge sharing
Required Skills:
1. Expertise in Snowflake data warehouse architecture, administration, and feature configuration
2. Advanced SQL skills for complex query development and optimization
3. Hands-on experience developing ETL pipelines with Python and DataStream
4. Proficiency in Snowpipe for continuous data loading and automation
5. Experience using SnowSQL for command-line operations
6. Strong skills in developing stored procedures with PLSQL and T-SQL
7. Ability to configure and utilize Time Travel and Fail Safe features in Snowflake
Preferred Skills:
1. Experience with cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
2. Familiarity with data governance and security best practices
3. Knowledge of data modeling techniques for analytical workloads
4. Exposure to CI/CD pipelines for data engineering projects
5. Experience with performance tuning and query optimization in Snowflake
Desired Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related discipline
2. Snowflake SnowPro Core Certification
3. Certification in data engineering or cloud platforms, such as Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer or Microsoft Azure Data Engineer Associate
