Job Title: Senior SAP S/4HANA SD Functional Consultant

Location: Remote (Travel as Required)
Employment Type: Contract (1099)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP S/4HANA SD Functional Consultant with strong expertise in SAP HANA, Sales & Distribution (SD), and Supply Chain Management (SCM). The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, configuring, and optimizing SAP S/4HANA solutions that streamline sales and supply chain processes while aligning with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Design, configure, and implement SAP S/4HANA Sales & Distribution (SD) and Supply Chain Management (SCM) solutions.
Gather, analyze, and document business requirements by working closely with stakeholders and business users.
Translate business needs into scalable SAP functional solutions and system configurations.
Configure SAP SD modules including Sales Order Management, Pricing, Shipping, Billing, Returns, Credit Management, and Output Determination.
Integrate SAP SD with other SAP modules such as MM, FI/CO, PP, and WM/EWM.
Support end-to-end implementation projects, including requirements gathering, blueprinting, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
Perform system testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and troubleshoot functional issues.
Develop functional specifications for custom developments, enhancements, interfaces, reports, and forms.
Collaborate with technical teams to ensure seamless integration and successful project delivery.
Provide production support, system optimization, and continuous process improvements.
Prepare documentation, conduct end-user training, and ensure knowledge transfer to business users.
Recommend best practices and process improvements to optimize sales, distribution, and supply chain operations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

8+ years of hands-on experience as an SAP SD Functional Consultant.
Strong experience with SAP S/4HANA and SAP HANA environments.
Extensive knowledge of Sales & Distribution (SD) and Supply Chain Management (SCM) processes.
Experience in full-cycle SAP implementations, upgrades, and support projects.
Strong understanding of Order-to-Cash (O2C) business processes.
Experience integrating SAP SD with MM, FI/CO, PP, and other SAP modules.
Ability to analyze complex business requirements and design effective SAP solutions.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Experience working directly with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with SAP S/4HANA migration or transformation projects.
Knowledge of EDI, IDOCs, APIs, and third-party system integrations.
SAP SD or SAP S/4HANA certification is preferred.
Experience in manufacturing, retail, healthcare, or distribution industries is a plus.
