Sr. Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand marketing objectives and develop strategies to achieve them using Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
- Create engaging content for email marketing, social media, and other digital channels within Marketing Cloud.
- Design, build, and manage marketing automation workflows, customer journeys, and multi-channel campaigns in Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
- Develop and maintain data integrations between Salesforce Marketing Cloud and other systems using Data Sync, Data Cloud, or other ETL tools.
- Utilize scripting languages such as AMPscript and SQL for customization and personalization of marketing communications.
- Monitor campaign performance metrics and analyze data to optimize targeting, segmentation, and campaign effectiveness.
- Provide technical expertise and support to marketing teams for campaign execution, troubleshooting, and optimization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Marketing, Business, or related field.
- 15 + years of IT experience and at least 10 years of experience working as a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer or similar role.
- Strong content creation skills with experience in developing engaging marketing content across various digital channels.
- Proficiency in marketing automation principles and best practices, with hands-on experience in building and managing workflows and customer journeys.
- Experience in developing and managing multi-channel marketing campaigns within Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
- Demonstrated ability to design and implement data integrations between Salesforce Marketing Cloud and other systems using Data Sync, Data Cloud, or other ETL
tools. - Knowledge of scripting languages such as AMPscript and SQL for customization and personalization of marketing communications.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Data Cloud experience is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with developing on other cloud platforms, such as Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services.
