Software Setup Technician
This is an entry-level technical opportunity with a technology-focused organization supporting the setup, configuration, testing, and deployment of mobile devices. You'll work hands-on with
iOS, Android, and Windows devices, including operating systems, applications, security software, MDM tools, and inventory systems.

Required Skills & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 0-2 years of experience in a technical, repair, or support role
- Basic understanding of mobile devices and hardware components
- Familiarity with iOS, Android, and/or Windows devices
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to follow technical procedures and instructions
- Dependable, self-motivated, and receptive to coaching and feedback
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Desired Skills & Experience
- CompTIA A+ certification or willingness to pursue certification
- Technical training program, Associate's degree, or related coursework
- Experience with mobile device repair or consumer electronics
- Familiarity with mobile device management (MDM) software
- Experience with inventory management or asset tracking systems

- 30% Mobile Device & Software Setup - iOS, Android, Windows, operating systems, applications, security software, and MDM
- 25% Device Diagnostics & Repair - Device inspection, basic troubleshooting, testing, and corrective actions
- 20% Device Configuration & Deployment - Preparing, configuring, testing, and validating devices for field deployment
- 15% Inventory & Documentation Systems - Repair records, device tracking, parts usage, and inventory management
- 10% Microsoft Office & General Technical Tools
Daily Responsibilities
- 45% Hands-On Technical Work - Setting up, configuring, testing, troubleshooting, and preparing mobile devices
- 20% Documentation & Inventory - Recording device conditions, repair activity, parts usage, and inventory information
- 20% Team Collaboration - Working with senior technicians, Technical Support, infrastructure teams, and other departments
- 15% Learning & Process Support - Following established procedures, learning new technologies, and assisting with additional device-related tasks as needed
