We are seeking a Product Owner and data-driven product leader with 9+ years of experience leading cross-functional product delivery in financial services. Experienced in leading matrixed teams, including offshore Product Owners, while coaching team members, aligning stakeholders, managing dependencies, and navigating ambiguity. Partners closely with Product Managers and firm leadership to shape, communicate, and execute on product strategy and roadmap. In addition to product ownership experience, this individual should have experience working with data as a product or business capability, with the ability to analyze information, identify insights, and collaborate effectively with data and technology teams. Hands-on query writing is not required, but the candidate should be comfortable leveraging AI tools to support analysis, query drafting, and decision-making.
Must Haves
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management information systems, computer science, or a related field
• 12+ years of experience in product ownership or product management, ideally within financial services, client onboarding, customer relationship systems, or data products
• Proven experience in product ownership or management within financial services, client onboarding, or customer relationship systems
• Broad and deep knowledge of financial services concepts, practices, and procedures, particularly in client onboarding or contact relationship systems
• Strong experience working with data as a product, analytics capability, or business-critical platform
• Strong analytical ability, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and translate business needs into actionable requirements
• Ability to leverage AI-enabled tools to support analysis, query drafting, and problem-solving
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and mentor in matrixed and geographically distributed teams, including offshore Product Owners
• Teamwork/collaboration mindset with a demonstrated ability to work with and influence stakeholders across functions
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to overcome ambiguity
• Prior experience with Agile methodologies and a robust understanding of the full software development lifecycle
• Coachable mindset with openness to feedback, continuous learning, and adaptability

• Advanced understanding of Product Management and Design Thinking principles and the ability to expand these capabilities across teams
• Experience in digital product ownership with exposure to high-performing teams and ongoing professional development of team members
Key Responsibilities
• Align product strategy with execution, maintaining the product roadmap and prioritizing the body of work for current and future delivery
• Manage system plans and artifacts, ensuring timely delivery against resource, stakeholder, timeline, and milestone requirements
• Lead, coach, and develop a matrixed team in pursuit of the product vision and team member growth
• Advise and collaborate with other product teams to maintain unified product strategy and progression
• Use data and metrics to guide prioritization, evaluate product performance, and measure success.
• Partner with data, engineering, and business teams to define product requirements for data-enabled capabilities and ensure solutions are actionable and measurable
• Support offshore Product Owners through coaching, direction-setting, and consistent product execution practice
• Leverage AI-enabled tools to improve analysis, accelerate problem-solving, and support product decision-making
• Drive clarity in ambiguous situations by structuring problems, aligning stakeholders, and moving work forward.
