What You'll Do:- Create and revise substation design drawings using AutoCAD and/or MicroStation.
- Develop physical layouts, plan and elevation views, equipment arrangements, grounding plans, and structural drawings.
- Prepare construction drawing packages and incorporate engineering markups.
- Develop steel detailing and foundation drawings for substation equipment and structures.
- Coordinate with engineers, designers, and project teams to ensure design accuracy.
- Maintain drafting standards and quality control procedures.
- Support project schedules by producing deliverables on time and within budget.
Required Qualifications:- Associate degree or technical certification in Drafting, Design Technology, Engineering Technology, or related field.
- 2+ years of AutoCAD and/or MicroStation drafting experience.
- AutoCAD 3D is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Substation physical layout drafting experience.
