Summary

Job Title:MQ/MQIPT Support Admin

Location: Seattle WA (100% onsite - also open to Dallas/Plano, St Louis, Charleston SC, Ridley Park Pennsylvania)

Client Name: Not mentioned (MSP Owner: Cameran Gamble)

Bill Rate: $60 to $65 per hr

Duration: 6 months (can extend)

Role:

Mandatory Skills:

Extensive MQ and MQIPT experience

Proven experience with MQ and MQIPT installation, administration, and troubleshooting

Proven experience working with IBM to create trouble tickets and resolve unforeseen issues

Strong knowledge of x.509 certificates

Strong knowledge of Linux shell scripting and admin

MQ Upgrades, Decommissions and new deployments

SAFE Agile ADO adherence

ITIL Process and Ticketing Support

Oncall Support

Installs, configures, upgrades, and troubleshoots MQ and MQIPT

Keeps up with the latest versions and patches for IBM MQ and MQIPT, tests their compatibility with current OS versions, creates and verifies install packages

Establishes and maintains backup and recovery policies and procedures

Renews, manages, and troubleshoots x.509 certificates

Implements and maintains MQ and MQIPT security

Sets up and maintains documentation and standards

Creates and adheres to Ticketing SLAs

Documentation and KB articles creation

Mentoring and best practices Implementation

Preferred Skills:

Perl script and C experience is a plus
