This is a hands-on development role with a strong coding focus on building, enhancing, and supporting innovative Agentic AI solutions. In this position, you will consult on complex initiatives with broad impact, review and analyze large-scale software engineering challenges, and contribute to resolving multifaceted situations. You will collaborate with developers and architects in a highly visible, strategic program focused on greenfield Agentic AI development.
Key Responsibilities
- Consult on complex initiatives and large-scale planning for specialty software engineering.
- Review and analyze complex, multi-faceted, or long-term specialty software engineering challenges.
- Contribute to the resolution of complex situations requiring a solid understanding of function, policies, and compliance requirements.
- Engage in hands-on development with a primary focus on building, enhancing, and supporting AI agents.
- Collaborate with team members through daily standups and close interaction with developers and architects.
- Communicate technical needs and blockers effectively.
Required Qualifications
Experience: 5+ years of Specialty Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, or education.
Technical Skills:- Python: 5+ years
- Microservices: 5+ years
- API Development/Integration: 5+ years
- MongoDB: 5+ years
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience with Agentic AI.
- Familiarity with Large Language Models (LLMs), Agentic AI frameworks, and AI orchestration concepts.
- Experience working with vector databases.
- Experience with FastAPI, AsyncIO, and multiprocessing.
- Knowledge of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and prompt engineering.
- Experience with Kafka and streaming data pipelines.
Work Environment
This role offers a hybrid schedule, with an expectation of approximately three days per week onsite. This position is part of a collaborative, supportive, and highly engaged team culture focused on cutting-edge Agentic AI technology in a greenfield development environment.
