Description
We are looking for a Production Coordinator to support the smooth execution of print and production activities in New York, New York. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, keeps schedules on track, and works effectively across multiple priorities. The person in this role will help organize day-to-day production efforts, align timelines with project needs, and ensure work moves efficiently from planning through completion.
Responsibilities:
Manage appointment scheduling and coordinate calendars to keep production activities organized and on time.
Support production planning by arranging timelines, tracking milestones, and helping teams meet delivery expectations.
Oversee daily workflow progress and follow up on open items to maintain steady output across active projects.
Partner with internal stakeholders and vendors to coordinate project details, communicate updates, and resolve scheduling conflicts.
Monitor production processes to help ensure work is completed accurately, efficiently, and according to requirements.
Assist with print production activities, including preparing job details, tracking status, and confirming deadlines are met.
Maintain organized production records and provide timely status reporting to support informed decision-making.
Identify potential bottlenecks in schedules or execution and escalate issues early to keep projects moving forward.
Requirements
Experience coordinating schedules, appointments, or project timelines in a production-focused environment.
Working knowledge of production planning methods and day-to-day workflow coordination.
Familiarity with print production and related operational processes.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and shifting deadlines.
Clear communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and external partners.
Ability to track project progress carefully and follow through on outstanding action items.
Detail-oriented approach with a focus on accuracy, timeliness, and process consistency.
