The ideal candidate has built their career within advertising agencies, production companies, content studios, or leading in-house creative teams and brings a strong network of directors, photographers, editors, production partners, freelancers, and specialized vendors. This individual is a strategic production expert who can independently drive complex projects from concept through delivery while balancing creative excellence, timelines, and financial stewardship.

This is a highly visible role requiring exceptional production craft, executive communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple high-priority projects in a dynamic environment.

Required Qualifications
  • 10+ years of creative production experience within advertising agencies, production companies, content studios, or in-house creative organizations.
  • Experience as an Executive Producer, Senior Producer, or similar production leadership role.
  • Strong background managing video production, photography shoots, branded content, and integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Proven expertise managing production budgets, forecasts, and financial reconciliation.
  • Experience developing staffing plans and resource strategies for creative projects.
  • Extensive vendor sourcing, agency management, and contract negotiation experience.
  • Established network of production companies, creative agencies, directors, photographers, editors, freelancers, and specialty vendors.
  • Ability to independently lead projects with minimal supervision.
  • Experience managing multiple complex projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong stakeholder management, executive presentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with Creative, Marketing, Brand, and cross-functional business teams.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with consumer, lifestyle, fitness, sports, retail, or other highly visible brands.
  • Combination of agency and in-house creative team experience.
  • Experience with broadcast advertising production and talent usage agreements.
  • Knowledge of emerging production formats, creator-led content, social-first campaigns, interactive experiences, and live productions.
  • Experience managing large-scale content creation initiatives with diverse internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

Creative Production Leadership
  • Serve as the lead production authority for creative projects, ensuring exceptional quality, efficiency, and execution across all content formats.
  • Manage end-to-end production for video, photography, digital content, advertising campaigns, branded experiences, and integrated marketing initiatives.
  • Partner closely with Creative Directors, Marketing teams, Brand teams, and business stakeholders to bring creative concepts to life.
  • Develop production strategies, timelines, staffing models, and execution plans aligned with business objectives.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline production processes while maintaining high creative standards.
  • Stay informed on emerging production technologies, content formats, and industry trends.

Production & Content Execution
  • Lead all phases of production including pre-production, budgeting, planning, location scouting, talent sourcing, shoot management, post-production, and final asset delivery.
  • Oversee content creation initiatives such as brand campaigns, social content, product launches, experiential activations, photography shoots, and multimedia marketing assets.
  • Manage post-production activities including editorial workflows, motion graphics, visual effects, color correction, audio finishing, and final distribution.
  • Ensure all deliverables are completed on schedule, within budget, and meet established quality expectations.

Vendor, Agency & Talent Management
  • Source, evaluate, and manage external agencies, freelancers, production companies, photographers, editors, post-production facilities, and specialized creative vendors.
  • Leverage an established professional network to identify the best creative partners for each project.
  • Conduct competitive bidding processes and negotiate contracts, rates, and service agreements.
  • Manage relationships with casting agencies, talent representatives, subject matter experts (SMEs), influencers, and specialized contributors.
  • Continuously expand and maintain a high-performing vendor ecosystem capable of supporting projects of varying scope and complexity.

Budget & Resource Management
  • Develop and manage production budgets from initial estimates through final reconciliation.
  • Create staffing plans and resource allocation strategies based on project scope, timelines, and budget requirements.
  • Track project financials, forecasts, and production expenses while identifying cost-saving opportunities.
  • Ensure projects remain on budget without compromising creative quality.
  • Negotiate vendor contracts, usage rights, licensing agreements, and talent terms.

Program & Project Management
  • Manage multiple concurrent creative projects ranging from large-scale integrated campaigns to rapid-turn social content initiatives.
  • Establish project schedules, workflows, communication plans, and production processes.
  • Coordinate resources across internal teams and external partners to ensure successful project execution.
